2012. június 09. Hotel Castle Park is, naar Albanese begrippen, een goed hotel. Ik was gehuisvest in 1 van de lodges. Die kamers zijn niet echt klein maar zeer
onpraktisch ingedeeld. De mogelijkheid voor het opbergen van je spullen
is erg beperkt. Ook de doucheruimte is onpraktisch ingedeeld met een veel te grote wasbak. Op het terras is het geweldig toeven. Het ontbijt is
niet bijzonder maar wel goed. Vers en heerlijk brood, wat kaas, ham, een gekookt eitje en twee soorten ambachtelijk gemaakte jam, die zo vol zitten met vruchten dat je ze met een lepeltje op je brood moet scheppen.
Voor mensen die hun Nederlandse eisen en haast los kunnen laten is het echt aan te bevelen, zeker gezien de prijs. Het personeel is heel erg vriendelijk en probeert een gesprekje met je te voeren al spreken ze nauwelijks Engels of Duits. Niet geschikt voor minder-validen of mensen die te lui zijn om te lopen, een kwartier naar boven klauteren.

2011. szeptember 01. Friendly, clean , accommodating , convenient, are just some ways one can describe Hotel Castle Park in Berat. This is a old traditionaly themed hotel which really enhances your experience in the old city of Berat. When you step in the hotel you are immediately surrounded by friendly faces . The rooms were very clean and cozy at a very reasonable price. Hotel Castle Park has a number of amenities such as WIFI , a great restaurant( which is run by the owners wife), beautiful garden, wonderful view of Tomorri Mountain and Berat city. I think I can keep going on and on talking about this hotel but I would be here a while. If you are looking for a personable experience immersed in the old tradition Hotel Castle Park is the perfect place for you.
Will go back to Berat and I can truly say that will go back to Castle Park as long as they are not booked for the whole year..

2011. szeptember 01. We think the hotel was great. Room was nice, free wi fi, TV, A/C, and fridge. Bathroom has a shower that is hands free, hot water. Breakfast was simple - but AMAZING. Homemade bread, homemade fig jam, homemade cherry jam, and butter - delicious. Also, a fruit plate of melon. Staff was friendly and helpful. Of course you can stay in a hotel in the center, but there aren't that many sites to see in Berat that you can't afford the 20 minutes (or less if you take a taxi) to go back your isolated room, surrounded by forest on the mountain across from the city. The guide books say it is located 2km outside of the city, making it seem as though it is in the suburbs - but no, it is right across from the center, just up a road going up a mountain. Now I did walk down to the center, very easy, as the road leads to a pedestrian bridge that goes right to the center. We highly recommend to everybody. Beautiful castle, top restaurant and grat nature. The rafting adventure was a life!
