I was staying in the Tower Block of the hotel. The exteriors of this block are in some serious need for a fresh coat of paints and the flooring requires some cleaning. The room is comfortable albeit the heating/cooling system in the room I was staying is outdated. And the roaring noise from this system can spoil your sleep if you are easily awoken by noise. Strangely, the room I was staying in did not have a refrigirator which I think most two star hotels have them! However the room did have a nice 32 inch HDTV. The complementary wireless internet is a good bonus. However if there is one reason, I may stay again in this place, it is the view from the rooms. I was staying in the top floor and the entire Downtown San Diego skyline was in view on my left, while the waves of the Pacific Ocean were to my right! Great photo shoot oppurtunity!
The resort definately needs some additional dining options while its business center is virtually non existent! The heated pool and jacuzzi are a welcome relief after a hard day at work! Probably a touch over priced given the hotel facilities. However probably you paying for the great views from the hotel and its proximity to the famous Pacific and Mission Beaches
