This beautiful property has it all: an incredible history, fantastic views, lots of privacy. We stayed in two rooms, one lower on the hill, and one higher (the higher one was slightly nicer), but both were very comfortable and pleasant. Having a semi-private pool was like flying first class; once you've done it once, you don't want to go back. You almost can't go wrong at Las Brisas. The staff was unerringly friendly. However, the actual service could use a little improvement. We asked for our in-room safe to be fixed (it wasn't working) three times and it still was never done. Once, we had to ask for beach towels three times before they came. I had requested a room with a king size bed but instead got two doubles. Things like that. But all in all, these glitches paled compared to the overall experience.
