I stayed at FiestaAmericana for 4 nights, and found it very pleasant. Since my room overlooked the main street, things were not quiet due to a lot of honking and other traffic noise. Bring ear plugs. I really liked being able to open my window to get the fresh breeze. The big surprise was the under-utilized restaurant on third floor. Breakfasts were delicious and less expensive than at Sanborns. My room had a coffee maker, but it was annoying that it cost 35 pesos each to use the coffee and the bottled water that were provided. I went to the Oxxo store across the street and bought bottled water for 6 pesos and Nescafe for 10 pesos, and this was enough to make coffee for all 4 days, using the coffee maker to heat the water. The staff were quite helpful, and I would stay there again.
